Sky High Summer Fun

SMACNA Greater Chicago members and their families gathered on August 15 for our annual Summer Outing — this year taking place at the Chicago Air and Water Show! From private spectator tents at Theater on the Lake, attendees soaked in skyline and lake views while the show unfolded.

Cloudy skies tried to steal the show, but they didn’t ground the fun. Guests enjoyed lunch from Chicago favorite Smoque BBQ, sipped drinks and spent the afternoon relaxing and connecting with fellow members and their families.

The best part? Good food, great company and time spent together enjoying one of Chicago’s beloved summer traditions.
